Challenge

How can the mobile phone be used as a spontaneous buying channel in a public transport and tourism campaign?
To kick off the ski season, a Snow’n’Rail offer will be launched in cooperation with Flumserbergbahnen, which snow sports enthusiasts can buy directly from the online shop. Special attention is paid to the online shop, which is not responsive at the time of the campaign.

Solution

To deal with the fact that the online shop for campaign launch is not optimised for mobile and the ticket at the end of the purchase must be printed as a physical paper ticket, we installed a mobile-to-desktop bridge. The campaign message will be specially adapted to mobile ad formats, and users will be redirected to the shop process with an automated e-mail after the “ticket pre-booking”, where they can complete their purchase and ticket printing.
