ApoApp

Via mobile app directly to the pharmacy.

There are about 1700 pharmacies in Switzerland. A huge potential for appointmentless and spontaneous health consultation. With a generic pharmacy app, this potential can be pulled together into a healthcare network.
The app design study “ApoApp” shows how user-centered UX design and a user-friendly interface can bridge the gap between regular pharmacy and impulse shopping.

Mobile Shopping Experience.
Location-based and needs-oriented.

Is it urgent? Or is it also sufficient to receive the medication only the next day? The experience design for the selection of products basically corresponds to the requirements of a mobile store. However, the mobile app design is built to drive more walk-in customers to the retail store. For this reason, we have included filters and interaction elements that relate to the physical location.
Users of this location-based app can choose whether they want to receive the medication by mail or obtain it from their nearest pharmacy. In the second case, users can not only filter by product availability, but also select, for example, wheelchair accessibility or a parking option as a criterion.

Proximity and companionship for chronically ill persons.

With the “my health” function, people with a chronic illness always keep an overview of important data such as diagnoses, laboratory values or prescriptions. The processing and storage of the data takes place in a third-party system. ApoAp securely accesses the data and presents it clearly in its own mobile design.
